We are so very impressed with this company. This is the second large tree removal job that we had accomplished with them. They are great to work with very prompt and timely as as well as as professional in their overall approach to the business. The guys that do the work on cutting down, the trees are amazing. The equipment they use is top-notch and really provides them an opportunity to do the work without causing on due damage to your lawn, etc.. We would definitely use them again and would encourage everybody else in the Service area to do so. Can’t say enough good things about them

We had a large tree limb snap and it was dangling precariously by the road in front of our house. When I explained the situation to Sean, he had his crew come out the same day to take care of it. This is my 2nd time using AllScapes for tree services, and both times I've been very impressed with their knowledge of trees and the quality of their work (safety, clean up, etc). I'm especially grateful this time because they quickly addressed a potentially dangerous situation, to help keep my family and my neighbors safe. Thanks AllScapes!

I was worried about an old tree in the back yard that had become diseased and was dropping branches. It hung over the yard and the house. I asked Allscapes if they could take it down and grind the stump before a 4th of July cookout and they were able to make time for us. The guys were careful, methodical, and respectful of property. While there they trimmed some out of control hedges (they look fantastic), pulled out two dying holly bushes and ground another older stump. Oh and trimmed some dead branches from a couple trees near the road. Add a reasonable price and we were very happy with the service. Highly recommend.

A large portion of my mature Maple tree came down in my yard. Further, the remaining portion of the damaged tree also needed to be removed. Compounding the problem, there was not direct vehicle access to the tree. Allscapes Tree Service viewed my difficult situation the same day that I called determining that they could extract the tree over a 6' stockade fence via an access road. Upon receiving RI Energy's permission to use their access road, Allscapes Tree Service arrived the following day removing the downed limb as well as the tree. Start to finish, Allscapes staff and workers were 'extremely ' helpful, professional and courteous. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up my yard as well as the access road. Their attention to detail is excellent and I will definitely call them in the future!!

Local Tree Care for Exeter Properties

AllScapes does not simply include Exeter on a statewide service-area list. We are based here.

From our location on South County Trail in Exeter, our crews provide professional tree services for properties throughout Exeter and communities across Rhode Island.

That local connection is important, but the tree work itself still depends on the individual property.

Exeter contains homes and developed residential properties as well as larger lots, wooded areas, and acreage where tree-care projects can extend beyond maintaining one or two landscape trees.

Property owners may need to remove a hazardous tree near a home, prune mature trees around the occupied portion of the property, grind stumps after previous removals, evaluate the health of an established tree, or selectively remove trees and vegetation as part of a larger property improvement.

On more substantial properties, access, terrain, surrounding trees, material handling, and equipment requirements can become major parts of the project.

AllScapes provides the capabilities to evaluate those conditions and determine the appropriate approach. That may mean Tree Trimming and Pruning when preservation is practical, a Certified Arborist evaluation when the condition of a tree is uncertain, professional Tree Removal when a tree needs to come down, or broader Land Clearing when the project involves a larger area.

Tree Services Available in Exeter

AllScapes provides complete professional tree care for residential, commercial, wooded, and larger properties throughout Exeter. Each service below links to its definitive Rhode Island page.

Tree Removal

Dead, hazardous, storm-damaged, and unwanted trees can create problems around homes, driveways, outbuildings, and other occupied parts of an Exeter property. AllScapes handles individual removals as well as more involved projects where tree size, surrounding vegetation, or property access affects the work.

Tree Trimming and Pruning

Healthy mature trees often benefit from professional maintenance rather than removal. Pruning can remove dead or damaged branches, improve clearance around structures and driveways, manage overgrowth, and help preserve trees that remain appropriate for the property.

Certified Arborist Services

When a tree’s health or structural condition is not obvious, a professional evaluation can help determine the appropriate next step. AllScapes provides Certified Arborist Services for Exeter property owners concerned about decline, disease symptoms, insects, structural problems, or other changes in mature trees.

Stump Grinding and Removal

Stumps can interfere with mowing, landscaping, access, new plantings, and future property improvements. AllScapes provides professional stump grinding and removal based on stump size, location, equipment access, and what the property owner plans to do with the area afterward.

Tree Transplanting and Installation

Healthy trees that conflict with a landscape or construction project may sometimes be suitable for relocation instead of removal. AllScapes provides professional tree transplanting and installation when tree condition, size, species, access, and destination make the project practical.

Emergency Tree Services

Storms and severe weather can leave broken limbs, damaged trees, and fallen trees requiring prompt attention. AllScapes provides emergency tree work throughout Exeter when damaged trees create concerns around homes, driveways, vehicles, access areas, or other parts of the property.

Land Clearing and Site Work

AllScapes provides professional tree and vegetation clearing for larger Exeter properties, construction preparation, property improvements, and other projects where individual tree removal is not enough.

Tree Work in Our Exeter Home Market

Based Right Here in Exeter

AllScapes is based at 354 S County Trail in Exeter, Rhode Island.

That makes Exeter different from the other communities in our Rhode Island service area: this is our home market.

Our crews serve properties throughout Exeter while also traveling from this central location to tree-service projects across Rhode Island.

For Exeter customers, that means working with a Rhode Island company that does not merely target the community through a service-area page. Our operation is actually based here.

But proximity alone is not a reason to hire a tree company. The work still needs to be evaluated correctly, planned around the property, and completed with the appropriate people and equipment.

That is why this page emphasizes capability and local experience—not simply repeated claims that AllScapes is local.

Managing Trees on Larger and Wooded Properties

Tree care changes when a property contains many mature trees or extends substantially beyond the immediate area around the home.

Instead of dealing with one isolated tree, Exeter property owners may need to evaluate several trees around a house, driveway, outbuilding, yard, or other frequently used area.

Other concerns can occur farther into the property. Standing dead trees, storm damage, overcrowded vegetation, declining trees, or trees conflicting with planned improvements may require selective work rather than clearing everything.

The objective may be to:

  • Remove hazardous trees near occupied areas
  • Preserve healthy mature trees
  • Clear deadwood
  • Improve access
  • Selectively remove unwanted trees
  • Grind stumps
  • Manage an overgrown area
  • Prepare part of the property for another use
  • Complete broader land clearing when required

AllScapes evaluates the property and intended outcome before determining the appropriate scope.

Tree Removal Across Larger Properties

A tree does not have to stand beside the house to create a problem.

On larger Exeter properties, dead or damaged trees may affect driveways, trails, outbuildings, property access, utility areas, maintained portions of the landscape, or places where people and vehicles regularly travel.

The priority should be based partly on where the tree is located and what would be affected if it failed.

A dead tree deep within an unused wooded area presents a different situation from a compromised tree beside a driveway or occupied structure.

AllScapes can evaluate individual trees and broader property conditions to help determine which work deserves attention and what approach makes sense. This is particularly useful when a property owner is dealing with multiple trees rather than one obvious problem tree.

Land Clearing and Tree Removal for Property Improvements

Some Exeter projects require more than conventional residential tree service.

A property owner, contractor, or developer may need trees and vegetation removed for a driveway, building area, expanded yard, landscape project, or other property improvement.

AllScapes provides land-clearing capabilities for projects where multiple trees, brush, and vegetation need to be addressed as part of a larger plan.

Not every project requires complete clearing. Depending on the intended use, selective clearing may allow desirable trees or portions of the existing landscape to remain while opening the area needed for the improvement.

Other projects may require more substantial vegetation removal and material handling. The appropriate scope depends on:

  • The property and intended use
  • Access and terrain
  • Existing vegetation
  • Trees to be retained
  • Trees to be removed
  • Equipment requirements
  • Material handling and cleanup

Getting the Right Equipment to the Work Area

On larger properties, reaching the tree can be a significant part of the project.

The tree may not be immediately accessible from the road or driveway. Surrounding trees and vegetation may limit the work area. Terrain, lawns, landscaping, septic areas, wells, structures, and other property features can also affect where equipment can operate.

AllScapes evaluates access before work begins.

Depending on the project, professional tree work may involve climbing, aerial equipment, rigging, loaders, stump grinders, or other specialized machinery appropriate for the site.

For larger clearing and material-handling projects, equipment requirements can become even more significant.

The goal is not to bring the most equipment possible onto a property. It is to determine what equipment and approach the project actually requires.

Managing Mature Trees Without Automatically Removing Them

A larger wooded property can contain trees in many different conditions. Some may be dead or declining. Others may simply need pruning. Some may have questionable health or structural conditions that deserve professional evaluation before a decision is made. Many healthy trees may require no work at all.

AllScapes’ Certified Arborist Services can help Exeter property owners evaluate trees when the appropriate response is not obvious.

Professional Tree Trimming and Pruning may address deadwood, clearance, and certain structural concerns while preserving a tree.

When a healthy tree conflicts with a planned improvement, Tree Transplanting may sometimes be an option.

When a tree is dead, severely compromised, or creates a condition that cannot reasonably be corrected, Tree Removal may be appropriate.

The goal should be to match the work to the tree—not assume every questionable tree needs the same solution.

Storm-Damaged and Hazardous Trees in Exeter

High winds, heavy rain, snow, and other severe weather can damage trees throughout Exeter.

On heavily wooded properties, storm damage may affect multiple trees or occur farther from the house where it is not immediately obvious.

Pay particular attention to trees near homes, driveways, garages and outbuildings, parking areas, regularly used portions of the property, property access, and utility areas.

Warning signs after severe weather can include:

  • Broken or hanging limbs
  • Newly leaning trees
  • Split trunks
  • Cracked unions
  • Partially uprooted trees
  • Disturbed roots
  • Major canopy damage
  • Fallen trees
  • Blocked access

AllScapes can evaluate damaged trees and determine whether pruning, removal, or another response appears appropriate.

When electrical lines are involved, remain clear and contact the appropriate utility provider.

Tree Care Around Exeter Homes

Not every Exeter tree project involves acreage or land clearing.

AllScapes also provides routine professional tree care around homes and developed residential properties throughout the community.

That includes removing dead or unwanted trees, pruning mature trees, improving clearance around structures and driveways, grinding old stumps, evaluating questionable trees, and responding to storm damage.

When trees are located close to homes, garages, fences, driveways, landscaping, or other structures, those surrounding conditions become part of project planning.

AllScapes evaluates the complete work area before determining the appropriate equipment and method.

Clearing Old Stumps From Exeter Properties

Stumps can remain long after the original tree has been removed.

On residential properties, they can interfere with mowing, landscaping, and usable yard space. On larger properties, stumps may conflict with access, clearing, future planting, or planned improvements.

AllScapes provides professional stump grinding based on the size and location of the stump, equipment access, and what the property owner wants to do with the area afterward.

Stump grinding can be coordinated with tree removal or completed as a separate project for older existing stumps.

Tree Problems Exeter Property Owners Should Watch For

On properties containing many trees, it is not always practical to monitor every tree equally. Trees near occupied or frequently used areas generally deserve particular attention.

Consider professional evaluation when you notice:

  • Standing dead trees near homes or access areas
  • Dead branches above occupied areas
  • Broken or hanging limbs
  • A new or increasing lean
  • Trunk cracks or splitting
  • Major canopy dieback
  • Unusual leaf loss or discoloration
  • Cavities or visible decay
  • Fungal growth
  • Disturbed or exposed roots
  • Storm damage
  • Trees interfering with driveways
  • Trees affecting outbuildings or other structures
  • Multiple declining trees
  • Trees conflicting with planned improvements
  • Mature trees whose condition is uncertain

The appropriate response may involve monitoring, pruning, arborist evaluation, removal, or broader property work.

What Affects the Cost of Tree Service in Exeter?

Tree-service pricing depends on the work required and the conditions of the property. Factors can include:

  • Type of service
  • Tree size and condition
  • Number of trees
  • Property access and terrain
  • Distance from usable equipment access
  • Surrounding trees and vegetation
  • Proximity to structures
  • Equipment and rigging requirements
  • Storm damage
  • Stump size
  • Amount of material being handled
  • Cleanup
  • Overall project complexity

On larger Exeter properties, the number of trees, access, equipment requirements, and material handling can become particularly important variables.

Removing one accessible tree beside a driveway is a different project from addressing multiple trees deeper into a wooded property.

AllScapes provides free estimates so pricing can be based on the actual property and scope of work rather than an invented Exeter price range.
